Established in 2004 as part of the esteemed Indian Academy Group of Institutions (IAGI), IASN is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi, and the Karnataka State Nursing Council (KSNC), and affiliated with the KSDNEB. IASN offers the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) diploma programme. This 3.5-year structured curriculum includes extensive theoretical foundations, advanced pre-clinical lab simulations, bed-side clinical training, maternal and child healthcare, community nursing, and professional medical ethics.
Applicants must have passed 10+2 (PUC / CBSE / ISC / State Board) with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks. While students with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English are preferred, candidates from Arts or Commerce streams are also eligible under updated INC guidelines. The minimum age for admission is 17 years as of December 31, 2027.
